I Downloaded The Latest Update Today And The Refresh Button Is Gone

I used to to click on the “Home Videos” link and then click the “Refresh” or “Update” button that was in the upper right. I don’t remember what the name of the button was. Now there is no button to click on. I don’t see it anywhere. I downloaded something to watch and I now I can’t watch it because there is no button to update when the new video is in my download folder. I would greatly appreciate some help on this situation. Thank you.

each library can be updated individually from it’s menu on the left of it’s name which is always there . Or you can invoke an update of them all from the menu next to the word LIBRARIES

Hi, is it possible to bring the Icon back where it used to be?

Thanks so much! Great answer with images. I really appreciate it.

Except for it doesn’t work.

I deleted a show from a network drive and of course autoupdate never noticed it was gone, so I had to go to the library and update it manually with those great pictures leading the way. No amount of updates ever removed the show. I had to go to the show - that wasn’t there, because I deleted it from the HDD - and hunt around there for the refresh/update button and then I was informed there was nothing there.

Duh. I knew that.

Yes, Empty trash automatically is on.

So… great work on the re-positioning of all the essential buttons - now to get them to work is another matter.

those buttons which were asked about perform the exact same function even though the outward appearance has changed.

If for some reason on your server the back ground updating is not working for you, please provide info logs and logs related to when you removed the item and invoked it. I can only guess with the limited information provided that possibly it thinks that an entire library directory was removed which is generally protected from auto trashing because usually that happen when a drive is inadvertently unmounted. but that is only a guess. provide logs from and the server logs will likely provide hints as to why it is not being trashed

I do ask you make a new thread as the original question about where the button has gone in this thread has been answered
