Where did the circle update button go to add new content to a library

I can’t seem to find the usual individual library update button (the circle with the arrow). I hadn’t upgraded to the new download so I just did that on my windows computer to make sure that wasn’t the problem. I added new content and am unable to update the libraries to see it. I even went into settings and checked the box for automatic updates and it still isn’t finding the content. Any help?

It has been moved to the ‘…’ menu:

In case anyone’s looking for this, the commands were renamed recently:

Thank you!!!

You’re welcome. You’re not the only one asking.

Always the things that are used the most that get changed or flushed.

I knew about the menu options, they have been there for as long as I remember, but I did prefer by a long margin using the Circle Update Icon. There is room up there, when in a library, why not show Icons for all functions available to it.

Just like my cell, a recent update has me swipe UP instead of RIGHT to answer a call, I’ve been swiping right for 7 years! I’m not a happy camper!

User’s must follow like sheep and

Thanks
Marc

If there’s a way to do something with two clicks and a way to do the same with 20 clicks - Plex develops the 20 click method.

They need to get these users tuned up and trained so when PPV products come along and you’re hammering away at the remote or mouse the chances of you making an accidental purchase are greatly increased (Amazon relies on this added revenue stream and Plex is going to cash in).

Here’s a little user nightmare you may find entertaining:

I wanted to ‘Refresh’ my entire Plexiverse so when I’m forced to use Plexweb (instead of the now favored PMP) I’ll be able to see those nifty Actor Images. Oh… no… a simple Update isn’t good enough. A Refresh is required.

I have 26 libraries - to battle the ‘Dueling Banjo Horizontal Mambo’ in all these wonderful Plex Apps (less items in the terrible-twosome means less time spent trying not to hurl when you’re forced to go there). Things were going fine until I got down the list far enough to require scrolling. As soon as you click that Library you’ve scrolled to Plexweb snaps the list back to the top (and, of course, you don’t notice) with a different set of dots now under your mouse (as you’re hammering away madly) and, YEP - wrong library is now Refreshing.

Do you shut down PMS while it’s deeply involved in your DATABASE or do you just let it continue?

There’s a half-hour of your life you’ll never get back.

I got it all done and it only took 6 hours and 4.7 million clicks.

I’m ready for Accidental Purchasing Plex! Bring It On!

thank You!

I don’t even have the … menu on mine so it seems I can’t refresh at all.

Ah, my bad, it was signed in as another user. I still have the refresh icon actually. Now I know not to update until I have to.
