…Plex doesn’t like .wmv files very much! Not only does the video preview thumbnail feature not work with them (fast forward/rewind) but my CPU goes to China when playing them. Just when I thought I was done setting up everything, now I have about 150 wmv files to convert to mp4! :#

Back in the day i recall doing the same thing with avi files. 
Although to MKV in my case.

Yea, I realize wmv is kind of outdated but they’ve always played really well on my computers and according to Plex logs, all of the wmv files processed correctly (video thumb previews, etc) so I thought I was all good. Then tonight I realized that the thumbs were not working and I was like hmmm, then I figured it out. Oh well it will get done I guess over the next couple of weeks, might as well do it now and get it over with.
