I need to restart plex as soon as the screen saver on Amazon Fire TV starts. Every time. Only solution is to deactivate the screen saver but I have a Plasma TV so I want to use it. Any suggestion ?

Since that time I have the Fire TV screen saver switched off. The issue (re)appears anyway since a few weeks probably from an recent update. I can confirm your observed behaviour from my Installation though any music continues playing and once I restart the app it picks up at the right point.
It makes me sad to see this issue being back again. I do not want to repeat every why and whine from the old thread though.
