I set up a new computer, accidentally deleted the new server I set up, and now I cannot add media to Plex

Title pretty much says it. I installed plex on a newly build computer. I deleted what I thought was my old server, but it was the new one I just put on my plex account., And now I have no way of setting up a new one, can’t add libraries. Nothing is there. I have no idea what to do. I’ve spent hours googling and trying everything. Deleting local app data, uninstalling and reinstalling. Do I need to start a new account?

check the plex media server folder. if you uninstall it should still be there. also when you reinstall plex. they have a feature on the advance section to select old servers.

and if that dont work you could use free undelete software to search for the 2 database files, and pray it finds them and hasnt been overwritten/corrupted yet.

Make sure to access your server through its local IP address.
If you’re on the same machine, open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web from your browser. If you’re on a different machine, use http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web instead.

If this doesn’t give you the option to claim your server, you might need to follow these steps:

Modt of the time there’s no need to delete databases. Certainly not using some “undelete software” or uninstaller that’ll cause havoc on your system more often than not.
