Hello everyone so i recently found out about plex and installed the media server to my computer but during the setup i mistakenly deleted the libraries for media so now when i login with my ip and click on media it tells me to install plex media server even if it’s already there and when i try to reinstall the app i don’t want to give me the setup back again even if i try to use an other account. Could someone please help me im’ so syked to start using plex.
Looks like you locked yourself out from your server. Depending on your platform this could be a relatively simple fix, by deleting an entry from certain files or deleting some records from your Windows Registry. Or you can go nuclear and start over by doing a complete uninstall (incl. manual deletion of certain folders that uninstalling the app itself leaves untouched).
