I have a valid Plex Pass and two of my own Linux based servers - how can i add more than 15 users to these two servers - I am willing to add another Plex Pass - will that help
SUGGESTION TO PLEX: allow people like me to upgrade plex pass to say 50 users and charge per upgrade
The limit of 15 is valid for your Plex Home group of users.
You can add more Friend users up ot a total of 100. (but you can’t share the benefits of your Plex Pass with them).
They are free to buy Plex Passes of their own.
ok question… I have family friends added 15 >>> so if i wanted to allow say 30 people to watch my vids on these two servers - i just invite them (not managed users) - is that correct? Plex pass benefits being downloads etc…
Yes. The Plex Home group of users is intended for your immediate family – people who are living with you in the same household and are sharing playback device(s) with you.
All other people should be added as Plex Friends.
