I would suggest that you return support for Windows 7 secured crypted connection support dropped at 05/27/21 at plex.tv for plex media player desktop
Anyone choosing to continue to run Windows 7 after all this time and after Microsoft dropped virtually all support has made the choice to run a vulnerable and antiquated system. They are taking a risk. That risk should never have to be shared by others. (The “risk” I am talking about is sudden loss of functionality not security but there are security concerns as well.)
It is unreasonable to expect any company to continue support for an operating system this long after the company that wrote it stopped their support. Plex is right to drop all support of Windows 7 systems and I really hope they purge all the antiquated stuff from their code whenever they find it.
Please Plex do not put anything in your code (or back in your code) that supports Windows 7 and is not needed for the better newer versions.
Plex would shoot at their legs, the amount of Windows 7 machines is incomparable with Windows 10 machines on the planet Earth.
