Firstly let me start by saying PLEX 9 kicks some serious a$$. I am very well impressed. I thought that I would hold off upgrading from 8 because I was soo happy with it. Played with 9 a little this evening and DAMN I AM IMPRESSED! So 9 it is.
However, being the “never satisfied” individual I am, one of the things I think could be very nice to see is a network traffic indicator in one of the top corners. The reason I ask is I am using some of the streaming plug-ins which I am loving. Sometimes however, particularly with the BBC iPlayer, I have no idea if anything is actually happening when trying to stream content and ultimately end up cancelling out when I don’t see anything happening. If however I saw a “Buffering” or “Traffic” icon on the screen somewhere indicating something is happening, I may show a little more patience.
So, anyone out there know if there is a way to show such a thing?
Cool idea, although i use iStat on my mac mini and view the data on my iPhone to get the same result + a whole load more. Its pretty nice
This sounds like something that could be incorporated into a skin honestly.
