If drive mount goes down, Plex will not restore content

Server Version#: Version 1.40.0.7998
Player Version#: Irrelevant - All Clients

Edit: Self created solution here:

Struggling with the following:

I have 2 separate Unraid boxes, one with the media (however less powerful, we’ll call this NAS), and one more powerful, we’ll call this PMS)

PMS has a share (/mnt/apollo/data) which contains the media folder for the PMS. Plex runs JUST FINE with the NFS share running when things are good. HOWEVER, if the NAS gets rebooted, the mount comes back up (confirmed on PMS in terminal, etc etc) BUT Plex cannot see it and causes continuous (and Plex-wide) content unavailable. A simple, yet tedious to get to docker restart of Plex will instantly restore the content.

I don’t care if I need to run a script to do so, but ideally, it’s a self repair process.

Can ANYONE help me fix this madness?

Any logs you want, screenshots, whatever, let me know. This has been annoying the crap out of me for months.

Thank you!
