Plex Can't Find/Display Media after sudden power outage

Server Version#: 1.22.3.4392-6000
Player Version#: 4.54…5

My small Synology NAS DS218j (2x 10TB Raid1) suffered a sudden power outage awhile ago (my fancy looking thrift store UPS with a new battery went out to the recycling bin the next day). Ever since, Plex can’t find any of my (previously findable) media content on my HDs.

At that time, Plex (or Synology?) support recommended that I remove my HD #1 and replace it with a new blank drive (this box has 2 WD Red NAS 10TB hd’s)… I didn’t have the $ to buy a new/additional 10TB hd… so I took out my primary hd, and outside of the NAS, reformatted it to resemble a new/blank HD, then put it back in. As advised, when the NAS saw the blank primary hd, it prompted me to newly auto install the NAS OS… I did that. Then I reinstalled the Plex app. That worked fine.

(I should note that all this time I was (and I’m still) able to separately see my media content on the non-reformatted 2nd HD under …/homes_1/plex/Movies|Music|TV… everything from the pre-crash system appears to be preserved here.)

I’d like to restore this content and get back to a working RAID1 Plex server… if this is possible.

Looks like I need to rebuild the RAID1… but where does this get done? In Synology or in Plex? I think I already tried counting on Synology to do this… and maybe they did rebuild the RAID (how can I tell?)… but this step wasn’t enough to get the Plex server involved in automatically rebuilding it’s own required RAID1 particulars.

What can I do next?
