I’ve just moved and have a new internet provider with 20mbps upload and I’m experiencing some slower than expected download speeds when directly downloading files from the web.
The first file I’m downloading is from one location that has DSL with 10mbps upload and the download speed is very consistent from the plex server.
The second file is from my plex server with my new cable provider and is around 20-25mbps upload. This speed is confirmed to be accurate when uploading the same file to google drive, which takes roughly 3 min to upload. However, through plex, downloading this file tends to bounce around 600 KB/s to 1300KB/s as shown in the image. It usually ends up taking longer to download the file from this server than my server with half the upload speed. Both locations are using the same routers with the same configuration and running the same version of plex server.
Any help would be appreciated
