Image Format SRT Subtitle Causing Transcoder Error

For some reason the web player keeps running into Payback Error with the message “Conversion Failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.” when the player tried to use image format for the SRT subtitles. The is for all web clients. I tried it on multiple computers. I can play the videos if I choose to always burn in the subtitle and of course the videos play fine without subtitle or on other clients where image format subtitle is not an option.
A little more context, it seems like I started to run into the issue when I swapped out my G4560 with a Ryzen 2700X on my FreeNAS, but not sure if it’s a server side issue since play back and transcoding is fine with all other situations.

Closing this in favour of Subtitles not working in Plex 1.18 on FreeBSD/FreeNAS (for some reason I just got the notification for this one today although it older but since we’ve started the conversation there lets keep it all in the same place.
