[Implemented (Moved to sidebar)] Allow PMS Owner to Remove Watchlist from Home Page

I am making a request that allows the PMS owner to remove the “Watchlist” from the home (or any other page) as a server side option.

As made clear with the implementation of the Fully Disable Discover & search results from Streaming Services (More Ways To Watch) is done.

The fact we can not use this feature without the “Watchlist” using the watch.plex.tv url and changing the look (some of us have chosen for our media) it is not a usable feature to all and we should have a say on if we want it to appear at all.

I voted for this.

If a truly local Watchlist feature isn’t possible, having an option to remove the Watchlist from the Home page (and probably also from all the contextual menus) could work.

I’m voting for this, but I want it to be an Account Level removal. I honestly, don’t see how this can be a server level removal.

Not having control over the posters is my reason for wanting this opt out option. I’m all for having full control over my Plex the content.

Plex have announced a change to the watchlist earlier today. As part of that, the watchlist was moved to the sidebar where it can be unpinned. I suppose that addresses what you’ve been suggesting :smiley:
