[Implemented] - Multiple Cuts Of Movie

Can we at least have the file name next to bit rate while choosing between multiple copies?

Bump! Im hoping that Multiple movie versions are implemented soon...

This is really needed!

With any hope they will at least add “Director’s Cut” and “Extended” to the current extras we can have for movies. A bit disappointed that this was not done along with the trailer support.

Even though, I just added some of these to the samples folder and had a recheck to get them to show and it works just fine.

In fact, it would be very interesting to see the exact same (similar?) codind as for theTV Shows, just changing the "parsing" of the file names, the first part beeing the movie name, and the second the attached description. So the same movie could just appears one time at the upper level menu.

Possible ?

Easy, isn't it ?

This is good, but putting in this menu would be even better:

Screen_Shot_2014_11_06_at_11_16_33_AM.pn

+1 for me as well. It's always a little painful (and slightly amusing) to see my director's cut of Brazil confused with the theatrical release.

This was always a pain on Xbmc too. Big problem is tmdb does really distinguish so it can’t be automatic. Maybe adding an additional tag would help for version

I NEEED THIS!

I hope you guys remember/know that +1 does nothing and only a "like this" on the first post helps.

If Plex doesn't add this feature someone else will and when they do I will switch platforms in a minute!

This is what I said, but it got me thinking...

By allowing manual naming for different files, you could do something like this...

(I'll use Iron Man as an example.)

Iron Man 2008 1080p.mkv
Iron Man 2008 Comic Docu.mkv
Iron Man 2008 Behind the Scenes.mkv

Then in the media manager name them (Movie, Comic Documentary, Behind the Scenes) so you could not only stack multiple versions together, but extras also. Creating a single menu system that would allow multiple version of a film, along with extras.

+1 to this. Would be great to get everything in a single "folder" with multi-options when selecting during playback.

I'm a little supprised that this wasn't addressed when trailer and extra support was added. I'm on board with this and would love to see this supported, it would help solve some issues I've seen.
