Custom filter allows basically to add AND criterias (also OR but only within a field). I would like to be able to filter tracks for instance that meet the following criterias:
Artist Style = Jazz OR Track Style = Jazz
And it would be even better with more advanced capabilities:
AND, OR, XOR…Agree, I would love this. Would be great to improve the conditional search features of Smart Playlists. The title of this request should be updated to include “conditional” as that is what this is really asking for, and it is very minimal in its current state. This would be a very easy improvement to implement as well.
I too am looking for this capability!! I would also add that the ability to use operators like <,>, <=,>=, etc. for ratings. Currently, the filters only allow whole values, so any songs rated with 1/2 star are not returned.
this doesn’t seem like a hard ask, but it would put me over the edge and completely get rid of itunes for good, this is the one thing missing.

Filtering in Plex is really stunted without this capability. It seems to be impossible to make a smart playlist (for example) that includes music that is either a particular mood or a specified genre.
Alternatively, is it possible to make a smart playlist that is an amalgam of different playlists (smart or otherwise), i.e. include any song that is in “playlist 1” or “playlist 2” or “playlist 3” etc? That would effectively achieve the same result as an “OR” condition.
Filtering only with AND is not very smart.
With Plex Web 4.56.3 you should now be able to use the new “Advanced Filter”. In addition to some other changes it also allows to group filter criteria and to set if all or only some need to be met. This way you can reflect the suggested OR filtering. Check it out
