+1 for this feature. Would be great to be able to pin certain collections and/or movies during different times of eyars. Maybe even add a schedule to it so everything year the same collections/movies get pinned.

This idea popped into my head, and wanted to see if anyone had thought of it first.
I would love to pin our Christmas collection to the sidebar for easy access during the holiday.

No one looks at the top for collections. At least my users dont.

I would love to have this feature.
I second this request, that will be awesome for those who have not technical users that come from another companies that always send them “what to see”, so I started to create them collections, but they have to search for the collection, adding them to the home screen will be a huge one
I’ve run out of votes, but I’d support this as well. You can add Playlists to the home screen, but you can’t customise the cover art, so it always looks hideous.
I’d love to be able to add collections to the home screen - heck, I’d convert all my playlists to collections so that they could have the cover art, and then I could use them like a ‘portal’ a la Disney+ or Prime Video channel.

The sort title workaround is the best alternative. Its effectiveness is limited in my case though. None of my remote users go into Libraries much. They all use homescreen to find things (almost always from “Recently Added” lists)
With Plex Web 4.56.3 you should now be able to pin/publish collections to your home screen → on the collection: ... > Visible on → pick from Library, Home and Shared User's Home (requires PMS 1.22.3).
Therefore closing this as “Implemented”, freeing up everybody’s votes.

Which version of PMS do you have installed?
From all I can find this requires PMS 1.22.3.
I’ve checked locally as well as via Plex. This is the same for manually created collections as well as generated ones.
Having the same issue with neither the new Collections on Home screen feature nor the Smart Collections working, despite having a Plex Pass and the latest server version (1.22.3.4392) installed. Excited to start tinkering with it, very happy with these additions!

After a hard refresh of the page, no joy on Google Chrome and FF.
Also tried fully clearing browser cache and cookies.
Try restarting your server. That fixed it for me.
