One feature I find missing in this amazing Plexamp app is the ‘Timer’ feature that is so common with similar music apps including radio apps. Would be great to have such a feature. Thanks again for giving us such a wonderful app.
What kind of timer?
Timer for switching off or a timer for waking you at a preset time, i.e. an alarm clock?
Dear OttoKerner, its mainly Timer for Switching off as many other Radio Apps have and I find this extremely useful function. I hope it is not too difficult to add this functionality. Thank you for all the great work!
OK, that’s commonly described as a “Sleep Timer”.
I have edited this topic’s title.
Thanks so much! Greatly appreciated.
+1 this would be a nice little feature to have
Any update for a sleep timer on Android?
Wow! I saw the latest version of Plexamp has a sleep timer. Very excited!
As @JayElP said, it’s available now in 3.2.1 ![]()
It is 5, 10 and 15 minutes and only up to 1 hour… This doesent make sense to me. I need 2 hours please
When I use the sleep timer on Plexamp (Android), the timer only seems to work if 1) my phone screen is kept turned on, and 2) the Plexamp is in focus (not in the background while another app is used in the foreground). Is this correct?
A sleep timer option for it to stop playing after a certain amount of tracks (5/10/15/25/50 maybe?) would be a nice alternative to this feature, that way tracks are able to finish playing instead of just stopping in the middle. Either that, or maybe set a toggle where once the sleep timer reaches the time the user has set, it still allows the currently playing track to reach it’s end.
it would be great if such a great APP like PlexAMP could get a sleep timer. i miss it
