+10000! Please guys can we get this already?
We need this feature as soon as possible, without it Plex is useless for Music, user rarely sync a full album, they prefer creating playlist with their preferred songs. Any ETA?
Frustrated. I just built a 240 song playlist for a vacation boat trip. Now I have to find each individual song and copy paste them into a new folder manually in order to play everything and I am not all that certain it will turn out well doing ti this way.

I have been sitting back watching the email flood into my inbox on this topic for a long time. I believe I was the one that started this feature request in another thread. It does seem very ridiculous that you cannot download (sync) your playlist. Just down right dumb, but I am sure there is a reason this has not been developed yet. However, there has been no indication for the dev team at Plex if this even in the works.

Itâs pretty well established that Plex doesnât discuss their plans or timelines. Even so, there are several posts from Plex employees in this thread, including one from Elan.

Playlists do sync on iOS. Which system are you on?
That said, I WOULD like for my shared users to be able to see my playlists alongside theirs (maybe with a label that says itâs mine), and allow them to sync my playlists as wellâŠ

As @beckfield pointed out, this was directly addressed (in this thread) not that long ago:

I truly understand the amount of effort it takes to make changes like this to an application and really do appreciate all the super work you guys do⊠BUT⊠Playlist Sync has been a really long time in coming to Android and it is really critical to making Plex usable for music.
Sharing of playlists would be super nice but I donât think I would put that into the list of basic things a Music player needs to do. Sync on the other hand is something really core to making it a usable solution, especially in these days of metered data plans.
It would go along way if we could at least have the button on the playlist to sync the content even if the list itself was not accessible without connectivity. Then at least we would not be pulling the music down over the wire.

The playlist feature is incomplete without the ability to SORT and SYNC.
Please add the possibility to sync music playlist!!
I wish this thread wasnât âsync and share playlists.â The two are completely different features rolled together into one feature request.
I really want to see the ability to share playlists. As a guy who runs a PLEX server for a bunch of friends, Iâm really interested in PLEX getting more curating tools for server admins. I want to be able to set up both regular and smart playlists for my friends. I need better ways of recommending stuff to people beyond just saying âhey go into this library and check out these specific songs.â Giving people access to my libraries just isnât enough; setting up smart playlist powered âchannelsâ would be much more useful.
Syncing playlists doesnât really have anything to do with sharing playlists. Also, syncing actually already exists in the iOS client, so itâs just a matter of adding this feature to other clients like Android, which PLEX is already doing. I just hope that once the feature comes to Android, this thread isnât closed and marked as complete. :\
