+1 Must have!
+1 Please
Please add this feature, thanks.
- 1 for this feature, I’d defenetly get rid of spotify if this feature was implemented, comon why does iOs have that already and not Android?? not fair…
+1, Still waiting for that feature. I’m travelling a lot, mostly by plane, and I need this feature on Android to sync only my favorite music stored in my Playlists (As iphone users can do for a while)…
+1 for Android (and possibly cloud sync) here as well!
Syncing a playlist seems like a no-brainer. Seriously, just do it. Mobile Sync for music is fairly useless for me as is. I don’t want to sync entire albums, and syncing song by song is crazy annoying.

How is this not a feature yet? I love Plex’s bells and whistles yet it’s missing this seemingly basic (and highly requested!) functionality.
I’m new to Plex and I see that the playlist is fairly limited in what it’s good for. I’m using the plex app on Android.
- Can you remove items from a playlist you created instead of removing the entire playlist and recreating it?
- Can you rename a playlist?
If not, I’d hope these features get added along with the sync which would be very helpful.
My yearly subscription is coming up in a month… You will probably lose me because of this year old problem.
With each update I hold my breath and pray, “Let this be the time [we get playlists sync]” only to be disappointed. It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.
Did the Plex team ever say if it’s a prioritizing issue or a technical issue that’s causing the delay?

We do not promise features because we do not know amongst the hundreds that are requested which we will be able to complete at any given time.
From my other post, note that one desired use case would be to simplify the management of lists of items to be played across all users on that server. This goal is somewhat possible by defining independent top-level libraries (which can be made accessible by default to all users) - but would be much more straightforward, by ensuring that a sub-division of the existing library content (i.e. a playlist) can simply be made visible to other users.
The additional users could, in turn, be assigned either “read-only”, or full “edit”, privileges against those playlists. But, the only current available option - forcing the admin to replicate the content of given playlist for each user account desired - is time- and effort-prohibitive.
Please note that syncing the contents of one of these playlists appears to be an independent, but related, enhancement. While I agree that the uses indicated by others in this thread would be beneficial, this seems it would be a distinct (and possibly, more-involved) enhancement.

Please add the ability to sync and share playlistspress “like” to vote for this feature (because this is how the dev’s look at the request-list)
Absolutely, a big vote here
Add my vote. Spent a lot of time assembling a holiday music playlist and would like to be able to share it with my wife’s account, and to sync it for on the road offline use.

This is preventing me from buying a lifetime license or renewing my current one. Come on PLEX!!
Playlist sync for android has quite a few views here and likes, it’s the third highest voted on in the Kepler Wishlist, yet nothing. How exactly are things prioritized (rhetorical question)?
this seems like a great idea.

please add ability to share playlists with friends.
