[Implemented] Trailer Support

Bumping this, so it gets some awareness.

+1 for me.  When choosing something to watch it's good to be able to present a trailer instead of just a poster and plot summary.

I would add the following suggestions:

 - The option to maintain trailers in a "trailers" folder.

 - Naming conventions to support multiple trailers:  Title (Year) [- Trailer] [- trailer description], e.g.
     The Dark Knight (2008) - Trailer - Teaser.mp4
The Dark Knight (2008) - Trailer - Theatrical Trailer 1.mp4

The Dark Knight (2008) - Trailer - Theatrical Trailer 2.mp4

The "Trailer" part of the name - in the middle on these examples - should be optional/ignored if the files are in a "trailers" folder.

A similar convention could be applied to "Extras":

The Dark Knight (2008) - Extras - The Sound of Anarchy.mp4
The Dark Knight (2008) - Extras - Evolution of the Knight.mp4

Where the "Extras" in the title can be omitted if these extras are maintained in an "extras" folder

- in the Library UI, where trailers exist for one or more movies, have an automatic "Trailers" Channel (or Section) to access trailers directly (by title).

- in the Title details have access to the specific trailers for that title (play).  If there is only one trailer, simply have a "Play Trailer" option.  If there are multiple trailers, provide access to a list of those trailers.

+1.

One idea, at my office we use the | to separate out content since it's not used very often and wouldn't normally be in a title.  Dash is often used in place of a colon on since it's an illegal character for file name use.  Even a text based config file that called out where content is would be helpful (in the case of extras).  Sometimes there are several extras (bloopers, music video, teasers) and it would be nice to vary the list.

Using the example above:

     The Dark Knight (2008) | Trailer | Teaser.mp4
The Dark Knight (2008) | Trailer | Theatrical Trailer 1.mp4

The Dark Knight (2008) | Trailer | Theatrical Trailer 2.mp4

The Dark Knight (2008) | Extra | Deleted Shower Scene.mp4

+1 for trailer awesomeness! :)

I have a whole bunch of custom trailers I made with ivipid for fun and would love to be able to have them play before a movie.

I would love to see this option. Its the only reason why XBMC still is being used on my Mac Mini. With Trailer support, I can finally switch over.

I just have so many movies that I forget what each one is about. Someone comes over and says what was that one about? It would be much easier to say, check it out...Let's play the trailer!

Please!

Shouting about it won't help. And you didn't vote for anything either.

This feature would be so cool, i have more than 1000 movies in Plex and watch trailers to choose a film would be awesome :).

I don't know how the code is written but PMS is synchronized with TMDB right ? So, the YouTube link which is on each movie page would be easy to get no ? I'm ok with the fact that each client needs next to be upgraded to support this feature but if it will be available on the Web Client in first time, it just will be wonderfull and amazing :)

Thank you to the Plex team for their work, I love you guys !

+1 For me too.
