What you posted works. Essentially, if you put " -trailer " at the end of the file name, Plex will pick it up in the scanner. Whatever you place before that, Plex will use as the title. So if you name your file "This is the Stinkin Trailer-trailer.mp4" then Plex will title it "This is the Stinking Trailer", and then show that it has the category of "trailer" underneath it.

I would like to see the option to turn on/off cinema trailers for specific sections in your library.
I would also like to see cinema trailers played match the rating to your movie selected. For example, if you choose a G or PG rated family movie, then only G and PG trailers should play.
I was thinking as just a nice little extra touch (going with the whole cinema experience) would be "Your feature presentation is about to begin" screen and most definitely what would give it that "premium" cinema feel (the thing that really makes me think of cinema) a Plex own, Pearl & Dean style intro thing. (I'm sure pretty much everybody knows what I mean)
Mix that with a little Philips Hue etc support, to auto dim the lights, you have yourself the best Home cinema experience :D

The “upcoming movies” option with trailers is awesome, but how about making it into checkboxes ?
For instance, play one trailer from my library from a movie i have not seen yet, then one “new on bluray” and then two from “in theatres soon” ?
Ok i also enjoy a random THX Trailer right in front of my movie, so how about having a folder with trailers that are played randomly ? When i count all my THX, DTS etc trailers its about 40… So they should not repeat so often
I would like to have a setting to be able to play a specific clib before each movie, e.g. the dancing popcorn clip that played in the beginning of old movies, still does at some drive-ins.
I really like the ideas of a THX clip and\or a special Plex themed feature presentation clip.

you just need to download the new client updates and the new plexpass pms then go to your library and force refresh everything. you can also check your settings library and agents, movies, and make sure freebase is moved to the top.

How are these trailers selected? I played the movie 2 Guns and got the trailer for You've Got Mail lol! Something is way off.
