+1 for this feature, I flip over to Flixster right now.
And speaking of trailers, I can't help but notice that synopsis listing for movies aren't great (meaning, they aren't as good as Flixster and other synopsis sites I find). Where do you guys pull the synopsis from?
i have over 400 Movies in my library. If a friend or my Wife want to choose a Movie, i have to sit with my Laptop next to them to play 20 different Trailers :(
Wow, hard to believe this isn’t a part of plex yet, been wanting trailers since the inception of plex 9. I hope it’s the next big feature, fingers crossed.
There are so many other features that would provide considerably more value, it would be unfortunate to see development of this prioritized over just about anything else.
For any family with a large library this is a must. When people visit usually hard to agree on what to watch and end up doing an airplay from laptop looking at trailer manually. Seem like a no brain feature to add and nothing as disfficult as new capabiltieis see being rolled out.
Selecting a movie should result in a information screen where you have the option to play the movie or play a trailer. Local trailers would be awesome :)

Yes to this, but this should be a feature that has to be turned on or only shows up if there are other options to the movie to be seen. Including Trailers and DVD/BR extras. If I have a movie that I don't have the trailers to or anything else, I don't want this screen/window to pop up. But a window that had the following options showing up would be great:
