Import an HTML list to Plex

Hi there,

Brand new user. Been using AllMyMovies for a list of my existing dvd’s. I would like to import this list into Plex for reference. I have no desire to rip all my dvd’s, I just want a list of what I have.

My existing catalog software allows me to export in html, xls, the basics…
Is there a way to import --not a playlist, but an ‘inventory list’ as I would like to benefit from the features of Plex . Basically, I have mixed media from digital rips to actual hard dvd’s and would like it to be all encompassing.

Plex is no catalog. It is a media server.
If there is no media to serve, you can’t put it into Plex.

Thank you very much. I expected as much was just hopeful there was a plug in etc to have it run as a server and catalogue as I have mixed media.
