Improving podcast navigation on Roku (and possibly other devices)

I listen to podcasts on my Plex Roku app regularly. Challenges I have with it are:

  1. It is cumbersome to resume an episode. It takes at least half a dozen clicks just to resume an episode. If the app is smart enough to know where I left off, it should be just as smart to let me resume it quickly.

  2. When I inevitably mis-click and end up playing the first episode, getting back to the episode I wish to play is tedious. There is no way to quickly get to an episode in the middle of a list of episodes. The only way to get there is to scroll and scroll and scroll… There should be a faster way to get to episodes that aren’t at the end or beginning of the episode list.

Is it possible to request improved navigation to make getting to the content I want to reach easier?
