Server Version#: Version 1.18.9.2571
Player Version#: Version 4.30.1
I have used Plex for the last decade, and have the Plex Pass.
The files are in a folder on the laptop. Plex is being used via Chrome on the SAME laptop.
This happens on many different video files. When I play them through Plex the audio is low, even when the system is maxed out, and the player is maxed out. You play the same video file through Windows Media Player, or VLC and the sound is considerably louder, not just taking the volume up to 200%, just at the same 100%. This happens across all files, all formats. More pronounced in the movies or shows that are naturally quieter. I have played with Plex Media Server settings and Player settings for any Audio. I have played with my Windows System Setting to max out all audio.
I have searched and found similar posts in these forums as far back as 2015 on this EXACT same topic.
What is going on? Why is this happening? Will this be fixed?
Thank you.
Very Respectfully,
Micah
