Windows 10 Plex server version Version 1.25.9.5721
Plex Windows version Version 1.43.4.2971-aa2133cc
Since the last update the audio level is too low to hear using the computer that the server is installed on. The problem is with both the Web player and the Plex windows player. The problem doesn’t exist on the laptop using Plex web player or on the Visio smart tv using the Plex app, the volume seems to be the same as has been. I tried downloading and reinstalling the player. Don’t know how to reinstall the Server which says is up to date. I’m stumped, could you help?

Just curious, you did double check the Windows volume levels for the player app in the Windows Volume Mixer? Sometimes the volume level for a particular app can be lowered compared to all other apps on the computer on my own computer. In the case of a volume issue, I’d always check there first. The app needs to be running to check the app volume slider.
I did check there and both the Chrome and Plex were at 100%. However, I found a volume control to the right of the Mute icon in the lower right hand of the Plex app control that I’d never seen before and barely could see now. I don’t know how it was lowered but I raised it and got the volume back to audible. Thanks for your response.
