Server Version#: 1.40.4.8840
Player Version#: S2 Sonos app
Plex for Sonos Version: 3.0.0
I have a new install of Plex and my main aspiration was to have good playback of local media to my Sonos installation.
The plex setup has been completed, and some songs play well through Sonos.
However I have found a problem.
If I search for anything, such as “Disney” within the Sonos App, I locate a particular track, I press on it to start playback, the Sonos app goes to the playback screen, but puts a toast message saying “Something went wrong”. Please see this example:
The problem is repeatable. If I go into the album where this track is stored, I can start at the top of the album and it will playback the track in question…yet from search this issue occurs consistently.
I see no log in the plex console of my request to play the song. When I play that track a different way such as viewing the album, and skipping to the track in question i do see the request correctly in the plex console and the song plays.
From the search results I do find that if I press the “…” button, i can select “replace queue” and the searched for song plays correctly.
This means the main issue is single tapping the searched track fails.
The same problem from the web interface is not present in any shape or form.
Any ideas? Anyone seen this before?
