Indexes indicator in Web application

I have asked for this before but maybe implementation was too complicated https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/179392/feature-request-indexing-status-resource-monitor#latest
Again adding 200+ files Plex is indexing them in some kind of random and unknown order.
Please add any kind of indicator, icon next to (un)watched status to see what files have been already indexed. The information is there but right clicking every single file is no way any kind of solution. I don’t ask for support in every client, just web app.

Out of curiosity: Why is it so important for you to know exactly whether a file has already video thumbnails? They have all their metadata and are perfectly playable.
Is there any feature depending on the video thumbnails?

AFAIK the files are processed from newest to oldest. Which, admittedly, doesn’t say much if you added them all in one go.

If you use Plex2CSV, you see exactly which files have already an index and which have not, yet.

At the moment due to various hardware changes I had to move a lot of my programs, scripts, virtual machines on MacMini which main job is to be PMS. Instead of NAS I have bunch of drives connected via USB/USB Hub. So most of the time Mac is pretty busy.
It is not super important but I find it very helpful and informative after adding a bunch of files, which I’m doing recently on daily basis to have overview of indexing status.

Understood.

So as I said, plex indexes the most recently added files first. At least those it manages to complete within the allotted time frame. It might not complete all of them.
You are adding a fresh bunch the next day.
Plex then continues index generation with these new files first - as far as it gets.
Then you add the next bunch of files…
