Don’t create a new account.
You can easily add a password to your existing account. This leaves you the option to login wither via Google or via email address+password. Just follow my link.
I already did that. But it didn;t make any difference

It is the same browser. I only use chrome. And I confirmed I already logged in using the same user. To be honest im a new user so I only have one account. Using the bash script it clearly shows the claim is successful multiple times
then when i had a problem i accessed this forum and it auto logged me with the same account.
No further help is needed in my case. I have decided to stick with my current Emby setup.
Just some feedback: I am not sure if this will make any impact, but I personally think the onboarding steps are terrible. It is not user friendly at all. The process should simply involve running an SSH command to install the media server, opening the web interface, entering the license code on the onboarding screen, and gaining access to the media server. I am NOT an inexperienced user— I bought an unmanaged Ubuntu server and set up sonarr, radarr, SABnzbd, and Emby myself, and I have been running them for years without any issues. Some users in my circle recommended trying Plex so they could share content, so I wanted to give it a try. However, this experience has led me to conclude that Plex is not for me. It was not a good first impression at all. I sent them an email and received a reply saying they cannot help with technical queries. I appreciate the users here who tried to help, but it should not take 3 days to sort out a fresh installation. It is all good—I am happy with my current setup and will not be changing my mind.
To the developers: if you ever come across this post, please simplify the onboarding process.
