I have been attempting to install metadata agents and scanners with zero success and am hoping to find some help.
First off, I'm in Arch Linux, and there appear to be three directories for plugins:
/var/lib/plex/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/
/home/*username*/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/
/opt/plexmediaserver/Resources/Plug-ins/
In all three of these, I have put the desired scanner (BABS.py) into the scanners.bundle folder, navigating down to series. In all three of these, within the Plug-ins folder, I have put the desired metadata folder (MyAnimeList.net Metadata Agent) under the title "MALAgent.bundle".
I have restarted the plex service using # sudo systemctl restart plexmediaserver as well as doing a stop, start, and a full computer restart, but still no success.
Could someone walk me through what I'm doing wrong here, or tell me where I am supposed to go to get PMS to notice these scanners and metadata agents? Thanks.
