Installing Plex Server: too hard

Hello,

I try to install Flex Server on my PC for several hours, in vain …
When it starts, I have “a problem has been detected with a core component of plex media server.”
If I go to “Media Library” to add a library, the “Add folder” button and “Next” remains grayed.
I searched on the forums without success.

Can you try installing the app itself on your C drive?
There can be some funny side-effects if the app is located elsewhere.

You can subsequently configure it to move its data folder elsewhere if there’s limited space on the C drive.

Was Plex Server already installed on this particular machine before?

Are you running a Torrent client software on the same machine?
