How do I pull logs if it can’t locate my server after install?
Where do I find my server version?
After installing, I click on the badge in my icon tray and it takes me to site 127…localhost, but page never loads -. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?
Thanks OttoKerner! I was able to download the server, but it is still not finding my server. I was also able to locate my logs after downloading. I don’t know what I am looking at and would appreciate any help trying to locate my server. Not sure what the problem is. II attached the log, but not the installer log. Any thoughts?
Apparently you have tried to install it to the root folder of drive E:\
Then you have additionally set the location of the plex data folder to the root folder of E: as well.
This cannot work. You cannot mix the program folder of Plex and its data folder.
If you want to move the Plex data folder due to space constraints on drive C, you should do it now.
Create a new folder on your E:\ drive named PlexData
Then go to Settings - Server - General - ‘Show Advanced’
and put this into the input field ‘The path where local application data is stored’: E:\PlexData
Save, then quit Plex Server and restart it.
