Someone has a good solution on how to start PMP automatically after boot.
Please refer to my post from September. dmonds was able to use it successfully.
did you ever fix this ? Or (my guess) you went out and bought an RPi 4 ? Have the exact same problem, even just tryping “plexmediaplayer”.
Hey! These instructions are absolutely awesome. However, I can’t get past cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug -DQTROOT=/usr/lib/qt5.12/ -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local/ … I get a HTTP error 404 on the url https://nightlies.plex.tv/directdl/plex-dependencies/plexmediaplayer-qt/206/konvergo-qt--release-206d4d1.tbz2.sha.txt I am guessing the files have been taken down or aren’t public. any suggestions?
The version number needs to be updated, its now 5.15.2, I think there are 3 places it occurs

This is an awesome idea, and should be more widely supported by Plex! Anyone looking for a DIY solution for a Plex Player should look no further.
I just built PMP on my RPi4 and I’m very impressed with the results 
Already replaced my old RPi2 RasPlex with this beauty, and won’t look back.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem.
The only thing I did was to change the version numbers after the 5 in the script to 5.15.2. I would paste the code line here but I am not on the Pi at the moment. That fixed it.
