Very good news. Thank you

I made a new, clean install of the image and everything seemed to be fantastic! The new trailer & extra features are working very well!

Can't find any issues by now.

Hi there

Hyperion is broken for me.

did this version(new openelec) enable the fushicai usb video grabber ?

thx

Excellent so far!! I did a clean install since auto-updates never really work for me. I also just like to start from scratch with new builds anyway;)

0.4.1 does not work for me. Screen remains black on boot. Green led flashes a few times, and then nothing happens. I'm back now at 0.4.0 RC3 and everything works fine again.

Why rc3 ? Are rc4/rc5 also malfunctioning for you ?

As to the black screen, is it possible that the boot is proceeding, but using a video mode that your TV/Monitor won't accept ?
(I ask that because another user has posted an issue at github about such a problem.)

If that is the case you should still see the 'rainbow' screen at power-up, and possibly one of the intermediate splash screens too, before the black screen strikes (when the system performs its final video mode switch to the mode it then keeps).
Do you see anything at all on the screen from the moment of RPi power-on ?

If you know the IP address normally assigned to your RPi in your LAN, then you can try connecting to it by SSH, some time after the black-screen boot. If it responds to SSH login, then the system is definitely 'awake' but using a video mode incompatible to your TV/Monitor.

If it should be a video mode issue, then it may help for us to know the type, brand and model of your TV/Monitor.

Note:  Similar issue with 4.1 using HDMI to DVI adapter and PC monitors.  With 4.0 I see rainbow and get full boot/functionality on Monitors and TV.  With 4.1 I do not see Rainbow on PC monitors (tested 4:3 and Widescreen) and screen remains black (backlight comes on), but works fine on TV with HDMI.  Appears to be a pre-boot issue with 4.1.

Love 4.1, thanks for the update.  I had been using PlexIT to get movie trailers for my wife but now AMT works again and I get trailers in the movie selection.  Still missing FF and RW but can live without it.  Thanks guys for all the hard work!

updated flawlessly via auto updater. no problems at all so far. it definitely feels faster now, gj!

Finally updated to a 1080p tv (yeah, finally). Excited to finally be able to use 24,25 and 30 hz modes. However, it seems to have some issues detecting this on boot up. Half the time only 60/50hz is available. I'm feeding it through a receiver that is getting a bit glitchy lately, so that could be the culprit. Don't know it anyone else has this problem, so I'm putting it out there. Apart from that everything seems great.

I am still getting stuttering audio and buffering when direct playing ac3 5.1 audio...  Everything else including higher bitrate DTS 5.1 is fine.

I have the problem on 2 Raspberry Pi... 1 Pc Monitor with HDMI - DVI adapter. 1 Smart TV with AV Receiver. Version 0.4.1 shows on both devices no rainbow screen at boot, but a black screen. (tested flashing with offical Rasplex installer and Win32Disc Imager). BTW I had problems to navigate through the menus (with remote control and keyboard) with any version after RC3. Rasplex "clicks" independently and jumps into menus by itself. Only with RC3 the navigating works. Sorry for my bad english ;) I am not a native english speaker.

Just updated to 0.4.1 via auto update and HDMI CEC is not working anymore.

Any tipps?

Checked the CEC settings with a keyboard and everything seems to be fine. No clue. Just 2 hours ago CEC worked very well with 0.4.0-RC4.

I used the auto-update function. And everything is working flawlessly(about 15 hours watch time of mixed quality of local and shared content).

(I immediately noticed you fixed some of the bugs, that where a daily annoyance to me)

I love it. I have nothing to bear you then a big smile  :D

Thank you.

I also used the auto update function and it seems to work just fine.

Already noticed that some of the annoying bugs i fixed.

Superb work!

Auto update worked perfectly, awesome work

You guys rock!

So far everything works fine for me! Saw the menu item to update and restart. I did notice a couple of weird permissions errors on a mv command in the boot startup but it kept on going and updated. The Extras feature looks awesome.

Auto update seems to have worked perfectly ( A first for me) exploring the new features now. Love the new look though.

Auto update worked perfectly.

The only thing after the update it lost the connection to my plex and I had to reconnect to myplex again by logging in.

Extras & trailers are working flawlessy.

Thank you :D
