I am lost. I’m an IT professional so unthought it would be straightforward! I want to be able to add my own music media, have a dvr experience via the Aver tuner I bought, etc. running a 64 bit windows 10 box. Plex keeps having me add more stuff - stuff I’ve already added. It doesn’t seem to ‘know’ I’ve added it or make the features available. I’m trying to cut ties with my costly satellite provider. I have no idea where to turn so that’s why I’m here in this forum. I feel like I’m going around in circles and getting nowhere.
I expected to see my server stuff with a dvr / program grid guide interface plus streaming services. I thought I could record and hire programming with ease but it keeps making me download more stuff even though I’ve done do, then suggests I subscribe and then tells me I’ve already done so- but the experience remains featureless. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong before my soul is lost.
