So I’m able to transcode 2 4K streams on the Intel UHD 630, but the moment I add a direct stream w/ audio transcode as the third stream, the transcoder starts to choke. I can add a direct play fine.
What are some others’ experiences with the Intel UHD 630 and 4K HEVC?

Yes ladies and gents, that is 6 4K HDR HEVC transcodes to 1080p, all done using DXVA2 for decoding and Intel QSV native for encoding.
I somehow lucked into a quasi-headless setup for the iGPU. It basically sees no activity unless PMS or something like Handbrake calls it. It’s basically my dedicated PMS iGPU in my otherwise used workstation. Pretty sweet setup for handling transcodes if you ask me.
