So bizarrely I’ve got an issue where some programs that are recorded by Plex DVR have interlacing issues, I’m not sure if this is just an issue on ones recorded from Challenge yet, or if it’s that they’re old (4:3 - anamorphic) programs (such as Bruce’s Price is Right - see screenshot).
To add some detail I’ve set Plex to detect and delete ads, and to transcode the recordings.
When I recorded ‘Tipping Point’ (HD) from ITV 1 HD that ended up as 1080p (when it was no doubt brodcast as 1080i) and that has no interlacing artifacts as best I can tell on the plex web player
If anyone can help me out that would be amazing - I really love my old gameshow tv, so would like to see it without the additional interlacing artifacts, thanks!
