I restart the win11 computer to make sure the plex server comes on. If I open the plex app it finds the server and shows programs scheduled to be recorded. 8 hours later, when I come back to watch a recording, the server is not connected (both are on the same computer) & the recording didn’t take place. This defeats the whole purpose for which I bought Plex.
By the way,when I installed it months ago, Plex worked great. Lately, it’s eratic - some days it works, some it doesn’t.
I tried the problem solving which said to sign off both the app & the server, then sign on the server and the app. The directions don’t work - I try to open the plex media server & nothing happens, but when I sign off & on just the app, the app starts recogizing the connection to the server.
I do not have a VPN enabled.
