Docker Image: Binhex/Plex (Third attempt)
Hi All,
I’ve noticed my plex-data drive is filling up daily. the Plex Transcode folder will grow 600GB in around 18 hours, the contents of which are a few (anywhere from 1-5) folders labelled ‘PlexCreditsDetection-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx/’. These folders have thousands of jpg images and at the time Plex claims to be detecting intros specifically of the same show.
Initially I checked the permissions but did not find any issue, I’ve searched this forum and found one similar post (Intro Detection: Temp Folder Won't Clear) but I tried I attempted the suggested database repair, I then deleted the blob database and the issue persisted. I swapped to try both linuxserver & binhex’s dockers after the original one yet the issue has persisted.
Appreciate the quick reply. I’ve read through the entire post several times and although I agree the situation looks similar, I’ve been unable to identify what appears to be a workaround?
The only workaround I can see I believe is to setup a task to try and delete the files quicker than they are written - If I’m able to generate 720gb of files in 24 hours, the deletion process (which would take hours) would absolutely obliterate my hard drive writing almost half a petabyte annually.
