Hi, I have a problem with intro detection for one single TV show (Criminal Minds). For all other TV shows intros work as expected. Intro detection is activated on server level, also I tried “Analyze” to restart the detection.
Any idea where else I might look? The intros have a distinct intro music that is the same over every episode so it should be detected as far as I understand it.

Is it a specific season you are having trouble with? I have that show and intros are detected for me.
What did you try that on? Intro detection is only triggered for an episode or a season. For an entire show, you need to make sure it’s enabled as a scheduled task and then wait for that to kick in.
I have several seasons and started watching season 1 a few days ago when I realized there’s a problem.
I activated Analyze on the library. Will try to activate it for the season.
Into detection is activated “as scheduled task” in the library settings. Is the scheduled task performed automatically or do I need to schedule it manually?
Could it be a problem that the intro starts at +5 minutes into the episodes?
It performs during the time you’ve set. However, if there isn’t enough time to perform everything PMS needs to, it’s possible it never gets around to performing the intro detection.
Nope, that should be fine. Like I said, I have that show and I do have the intros detected.
