Intro Detection doesn't run as a scheduled task only

Parameters:

  • Intro detection (as a scheduled task only).
  • maintenance period 23 hours of the day and has been alive for 3 months more or less
  • tv series library using agent: plex tv series
  • server believes shows don’t have intros. Running analyze on series level or library level skims through entirety without checking.
  • running analyze on the season level but only for each season (as there may be variance across seasons).
  • i changed the intro detection to include ‘on media added’ which corrects it for newer series.

I’ve no idea why this occurred. Is there some plex dance to force it to run again? maybe export the database, modify it directly: update metadata_item set IntroDetectionRun = 0
