New ios app crashes when changing library. Nothing works, screen darkens and need to close the app down to get the screen to respond.

New ios update today hasnt fixed this anyone at plex able to help on this?
Does this sound like your bug? If so, the developers are aware.

Anch’io ho lo stesso problema e non capisco perchè! Ha sempre funzionato ma dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento non mi carica piu le librerie!!

@here do y’all have “reduce motion” enabled in iOS Accessibility settings? iOS Settings>Accessibility>motion>reduce motion
Plex app get stuck in backdrop whenever I try to change library. Open app → tap and hold on libraries tab → tap to close. I have reduce motion setting active (that usually causes this issues)

Do you have favorite libraries? if so and you remove all the favorites do you see the same? There is a similar issue regarding favorites and I want to see if the same.

Ive removed favourites and the problem still persists but the screen does not go black. However the app crashes
sorry so it happens to you with it enabled, or do you mean it does not matter if enabled or not?
I could only reproduce by enabling reduce motion, force close app if already open, start up app, and I can reproduce almost every time.
if you disable/enable reduce motion. you will likely need to force close app and reopen first before it takes affect.

Yes with reduce motion off it still happens.
I looked at the other comment about favourite libraries. Made no change when i removed favourites from the app so i fully restarted my server and that seems to have sorted it.
Reduce motion is on and its still fine.
I then re-added them back as favourites on my app and the issue came back.
Remove them again, issue sorted
