iOS - errors playing offline synced content

iOS 9.3.2 (13F69)
Plex 4.2 (5 July)
Server Version: 1.0.0.2261 (running on Mac )

Since a few updates back, not sure what, I’m having a problem playing offline content.
I can sync it with no issues but when playing I have errors, the episode fails after being playing for a while.
Depending on the episode it may happen after a minute or 25, there is no padron on the minute it happens but always happen on the same minute in that episode.
If I want to continue watching I need to jump that minute on the episode.

In some files it happen lots of times others only once or twice, very rarely i can see an episode without fails.
I’m believe that the problem may be on the server when doing the conversion but I have tried conversion set to slow, fast ( quality high and low) and every option I found.
The server is running on a Mac mini with 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 - 8GB memory.
This PC doesn’t do anything else than server for plex, the files are stored on a NAS in the network, the server and NAS are connected over cable to a giga switch.

I use plex mainly because of the simplicity to sync the devices and see it offline while on airplanes, which is many hours of my life and the way it automatically controls the view list and download the new episodes.
This error is becoming very annoying. Any idea on what the problem may be?

Thank you

I’m also having the same issue - bump!!

Same for me - this is really annoying

I bought plex pass to be able to play my movies offline, (For the Children) but after syncing 5 movies I realize, playback dont work. I get the the message “ooh, something went wrong…”
I use a Ipad Air with the newest IOS update availiable, and all Plex updates are installed.
Som movies have burned in subtitles and othe have srt og assa, they have AC3 and AAC, but one thing they got in common, offline playback dont work, and my children are giving me hell. :frowning:

Same issue here. I assume that the converted version is corrupt somehow. I’ve tried deleting the sync and resyncing with different quality settings (in an attempt to force an update to the converted file) which seemed to work but recently am having the same issues again regardless.

I get the following error - “Something went wrong with playing your media. Please try again”
