I am going to do my best to explain what I am trying to do so hopefully someone can give me an answer on if this is already implemented and I am just missing a setting or if this is something that anyone even cares about other than myself.
I use PLEX (latest version) and iOS on an iphone SE. I have it auto upload my photos/video I shoot with my phone. When I am browsing my PLEX photos I can just open it up and it has a nifty little share icon that is in all iphone apps. It lets me send that photo right out as a text or air drop it, email it, etc. It is perfect for what I want. The problem for me is that there is no option to do that with the home videos I record. The share button is grayed out and not usable.
I am suggesting that we make it able to redownload the home videos and send them out as a text/email/airdrop. I am sure it was initially done as to not be able to save movies/tv but for home videos the files are small (relatively) and are not copyrighted.
Any thoughts on this or if it is somehow already included? It saves so much space on my phone doing this for photos as I can delete them off my phone and just get them later on the go if needed. The videos eat more space but currently I have to keep them local if I know I may want to text them out. Thanks and any input is welcome!
