I started getting messages that my Plex database is currupted. It seems to show when im doing scheduled tasks and it only shows on my iPhone.
I found another post about this but it seems to have been closed without any answer last year.
is this actually a database corruption problem or some other kind of bug? I wonder why the server does not tell me anything?

Sounds like you enabled the notifications …
You better check to find out. Plex will go south fast if the database is corrupted… luckily there’s a chance you can repair it:

Yes im using notifications, but should I not be able to see this server side too?
And I have seen this one before but which one do I use for a Synology NAS? Linux?
Thank you so much for your answer

Here you go… closest to the Linux instructions but with Synology we can always use the specific FAQ
You should be able to attempt a repair based on the Linux instructions via SSH. If that fails…
FAQ 17: Recover from a corrupt database
On Synology NAS machines, we have direct GUI access to the database area.
We can use File Station to recover if PMS was previously able to make database backups
Open Control Panel - Shared Folders - EDIT the Plex share
a. Permissions tab
b. Give your username R/W permission to the Plex share

Open File Station
Navigate to the databases folder
