[iOS] Plex no-longer prevents sleeping when in the foreground HOW THE HELL DO YOU COMPLETE SYNC!

I used to just manually initiate sync and leave plex in the foreground to run long sycn jobs, it seems it no-longer keeps the phone from sleeping / locking and ends up with the background 10min limit almost immediately.

The sync process has always sucked on iOS but it is now basically impossible to even sync a single movie or a lengthy playlist without jumping through hoops.

Anyone else noticing this? I really started liking Plex as a music app once the Premium libraries feature came out but sync is a constant PAIN. I keep a lot of local content because I use it on long subway rides or long car trips and even flights.

Apps like Google photos seem to get away with aggressive optimistic background syncing even with iOS restrictions as long as they where launched once since the last time the device was powered off. Why is plex sync still such a pain?
