IOS Plexamp app not available in App Store

Hi ,
I’m a delighted , Plex user… have a server , have a headless Plexamp running to feed two active speakers… life is great…

Now I want to share my happiness… with my wife , on her Iphone… drama and fustratio has now started.

We can download the app, I cannot get it to activate or even find the activate option… its soo fustrating…

After the download and install I can open the app, but you need a login and password. I have set her up as a managed user …( no access cannot login, its only for the TV interface) I add her through an invite … that allows the login but then it kicks back she needs a plexpass ( what I have )

What I want is to allow my wife to use the plexamp server and select her own songs from her phone and stream them to the headless plexamp.

please help …

  1. Install Plexamp on her phone.
  2. Sign in Plexamp to your main plex account.
  3. Use “Switch User” in Plexamp to switch to her managed user account.

Thanks Otto. maybe this deserves a pinned post ? or a better explanation on the IOS page …

This is identical to all other Plex app types, when it comes to signing in managed users.
