iOS PlexAmp: sync to shared local file storage?

Not entirely sure if this is the right subforum or this should be in Feature Suggestions but here goes:

Since iOS 13 Apple allows apps to store files in the shared local storage. Currently PlexAmp only syncs songs to its own app sandbox, but if would save files in this shared storage, other apps could (read-only) access the songs - for example I’d be able to use Plex synced music in my DJ mixing apps, something I currently still have to use iTunes sync for.

Would this be very difficult to implement?

Might be on the tricky side, would have to think about it, and usually work gets scheduled based on demand (just being honest) :sweat_smile:

The synced files are not organized in a clear artist/album sort of hierarchy, so even if we moved them to the “right” place they would be pretty hard to make use of.
