iPad App - Pause Sync

It would be nice to have a feature on iPad app that would allow us to disable sync’ing completely when using a low-data connection.

On the iPhone app we are able to uncheck “Use Cellular Data”. This works great. I never have to worry about my cell phone using up data while sync’ing. It would be important to have something similar on iPad that observes “Low Data Mode” on a wifi connection or recognizes that it is tethered to a cell phone.

For those of us that use an iPad, there is no way to simply disable sync’ing when tethered to a mobile phone. This quickly becomes an issue if we keep unwatched TV episodes on our iPads. The only way to stop sync’ing is to individually pause items. This is far from practical. If we open up the app and should forget to open up the sync options to pause each item, then we end up consuming mobile data very quickly (some of us live in places where cell carriers only offer about 5-10 gigs of data per month). In addition, even if we pause an individual item, if we close and reopen the app, the sync resumes.

We desperately need a “Low Data Mode” or “Pause All Sync” button. I essentially purchase Plex Pass for the ability to sync, but i feel that this feature is broken on the iPad version without this option.
